how much current?

Actually quite a lot for such a small thing. I designed for as much as possible but at least 1 A per channel, but it may really be several times that given how low is the RDSon of the FETs I found. I'm impressed if I may say that myself, but really all the thanks goes to modern FET technology. I'm about to use a bunch of these soon and then I'll finally characterize them and report back.

In fact (if you're using a 24 V setup) you may need to worry more about the power dissipation in the voltage regulator rather than the LED current unless you're trying to run 5+ A per channel.
